All of our electronic and electrical engineering degrees offer you the chance to gain professional experience through work placements.
Work placements give you the opportunity to develop your professional, academic and personal potential in a working environment. Not only will you apply your learnings from your degree course, but you’ll learn to be adaptable, confident, digitally savvy and globally minded.
Taken in between your second and third year of studying, you’ll get an insight into your subject area, optional career paths and skills which can dramatically enhance your graduate career chances.
You’ll be supported by your personal tutor and our Professional Development Centre before, during and after your degree. They’ll support you in identifying what type of opportunities you are looking to pursue, be it electrical engineering jobs, computer engineering jobs or jobs within other sectors.
