Why do a degree apprenticeship?

Apprenticeships are a fantastic way to gain a degree whilst pursuing a career that you are passionate about.

Our apprenticeship programmes are developed by employers, professional bodies and the university. As an apprentice you will be employed throughout the programme, spending part of your time at Brunel and the rest with your employer.

There are many advantages in taking an apprenticeship degree, here are just a few:

Earn while you learn

Apprentices are employed throughout the course and paid a wage throughout, including your time spent at University.

No student fees

You will gain a recognised undergraduate or postgraduate award without needing to pay any student fees.

Industry recognised

Degree apprenticeships are designed in partnership with employers and professional bodies, giving you a head start in your chosen profession.

Practical experience

You will be working in a job role that is aligned to your degree, ensuring you can apply what you learn straight away.

Get ahead

As a degree apprentice you will be able to add your work-experience to your CV, giving you an advantage over other graduates from full-time courses, who won’t have had as much opportunities in the workplace.
