About us

Our collections comprise of the University’s own institutional archive, including our predecessor colleges and the British and Foreign School Society which date back to 1795, as well as a range of subject-specific collections with particular strengths in transport history and the Channel Tunnel, working-class autobiographies, poetry and Shakespeare.

We are currently based in the Library within the Bannerman Centre.

We manage, preserve, collect and make available for research our collections both internally and externally.  Please see Using Archives and Special Collections and catalogue for further information or our Archives and Special Collections Policy. You can also contact us via Arc-SC@Brunel.ac.uk.
