Inaugural Lecture: Experience Matters, Meriel Norris

Rehabilitation from a significant injury or neurological damage is complex. So is the education and training of clinicians who deliver that rehabilitation. Things get even more complex when we consider the broader context of the people involved.

In this lecture, Meriel will briefly explore the concept of rehabilitation and illustrate how an interdisciplinary lens has shaped her thinking and her approach to research and practice. Drawing from different projects and her various life and professional experiences, she will consider ways to develop a deeper understanding of experience in ways that might challenge things we often take for granted.

Meriel hopes you will join her for a drinks reception after her lecture.
