I am currently a Priniciple Investigator for a research study: 'Maintaining the benefits of Pulmonary Rehabilitation With Harmonies And Melodies via Singing for Lung Health. The WHAM randomised feasibility study.' Research for Patient Benefit (RfPB) Programme: NIHR201539 (Funding of £248,000), Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

I have also been a Principle Investigator for other research studies:

1. SPACE FOR COPD delivered as a maintenance programme on pulmonary rehabilitation discharge: a randomised controlled trial evaluating the long-term effects on exercise tolerance and mental well-being. Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

2. Minimal versus specialist equipment in the delivery of pulmonary rehabilitation: a noninferiority randomised controlled trial. Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

3. Does music listening during pulmonary rehabilitation in individuals with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) improve outcomes? A randomized controlled trial. Northern Health.

I have interest in research particularly in cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation.
