Lab 5: Global Business Governance and Entrepreneurial Management
The focus of the research lab is to introduce sustainable economic growth, using entrepreneurial knowledge to increase the effectiveness of new ventures and established businesses, and upskilling businesses of different sizes in the UK and abroad. The lab’s mission is to create a platform to share advanced knowledge about entrepreneurial finance and accounting, and to establish a sustainable and ethical governance set-up for researchers, small businesses, corporate bodies, policy makers, NGOs and other stakeholders of the higher education institute. The lab will organise seminars on a regular basis with national and international partners, joint conferences with businesses, policy makers and researchers, interdisciplinary events for early career researchers, faculty development events, joint research projects and other relevant activities, in order to address emerging socio-economic issues.

Professor Monomita Nandy
Vice Dean International (CBASS) / Professor - Accounting and Finance
ofessor Nandy completed her undergraduate and postgraduate degree in Accounting and Finance at the University of Calcutta in India. In addition, she successfully completed the Bachelor in Education. Monomita was awarded a PhD in Commerce from Calcutta University, India. In 2012, she gained a second PhD in Money and Finance from the University of Rome TorVergata, Italy. In 2013, she completed the Graduate Certificate Training at the University of Surrey. She presents her research work in leading national and international conferences and her research works are published in leading journals. She conducts research with businesses and her research is well accepted by the policy makers.
