Taster days for schools and colleges

We are thrilled to announce our Law Taster Day on Wednesday 12th February 2025 is now available to book on to. Our Academics will introduce your students to the different concepts of Law in Higher Education and explore their Career prospects, alongside a Student Experience panel whereby current Law students are on hand to answer any questions surrounding their journey at Brunel University of London. We are thrilled to announce our 2025 Brunel Taster Day: Festival of Social Sciences! This will take place at Brunel, University of London on Wednesday 26 March, 2025, 9:30-15:00. 

 This is an exciting event where students will be introduced to an array of disciplines within Brunel’s Department of Social and Political Sciences, including: Anthropology, Criminology, Geography, Global Challenges, History, Journalism, Media and Communications, Politics and Sociology. Pitched at Year 11/12/13 students, this Taster Day will take the form of previous years and revolve around a series of interactive workshops that draw directly from the experiences of Brunel’s world-leading Social Scientists, who between them conduct research in every continent across the globe. 

 In addition to these workshops, you will hear from our current students about what it’s like to study at Brunel, along with the variety of careers that await. Lunch and light refreshments will also be provided for all attendees, and optional campus tours will be available.

We’re delighted to announce our Engineering Taster Day on Thursday, 10th July 2025, from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM at Brunel’s campus. Open to Year 11, 12, and 13 students, this event offers a chance to explore how a Brunel degree in these highly regarded disciplines could set them up for a rewarding career. The day will feature short talks from academics across Chemical, Civil & Environmental, Electronic & Electrical, Aerospace, Mechanical, and Automotive Engineering, along with guided tours of Brunel’s sector-leading labs and teaching facilities, and a hall of residence. Lunch and light refreshments will also be provided for all attendees.
