Animation: Patch ModelingConverting Objects to Patches
- Converting to a patch surface can be handled in three different ways:
- Right click the object in question and choose Convert to Editable Patch from the pop-up menu.
- Select the object, go to Modify command panel and click the Edit Stack button. A pop-up menu appears, where you can select Convert to Editable Mesh.
- Apply an Edit Patch modifier to the top of the stack
- Converting an object to an Editable Patch will take up more memory so as a rule do not convert unless you have a good reason.
