Open Access publisher deals

Transformative agreements, publisher prepayments, membership deals and discounts

Brunel has deals with several established publishers that can cover the cost of open access publishing in thousands of journals. The publisher deals are listed below. Not all journals from a given publisher are necessarily covered by the deal, and not all papers will be covered. These deals do not apply to book chapters or monographs.

Which journals are covered?

A list of journals covered by Brunel's open access agreements is available here. This list was compiled using Journal Checker Tool data. Note that publishers may add or remove titles so this information may become increasingly outdated. We aim to provide updated versions on this list at least semi-annually.

Determining Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for Brunel authors outlined here also apply for the inclusion of papers in Transitional Agreements . Note that Transitional Agreements have their own eligibility criteria. Always fill out our form and await confirmation of eligibility prior to submission, but this is of especial importance when an acknowledged funder mandates open access, the journal is fully open access, or you simply want the paper to be open access.
