Equipment Access
Learn in an environment that mirrors the media industry, allowing you to hone your skills and put into practice what you have learnt in your lectures and training workshops. You will have access to a range of professional cameras and audio recording equipment, including items on the Netflix approved camera list. There is a wide range of additional equipment available to you as well, from lighting kits through to podcasting equipment – and you are provided with full training on this in class and in bespoke sessions.
Edit Suites & Software Training
You will learn how to edit the material you have recorded in our state-of-the-art post-production facilities, with twelve dedicated edit suites for use on individual or small group projects. Each suite is powered by professional iMacs with dual-screen monitors and a dedicated sound system. With free access to the full Adobe Creative Cloud software suite, you will be able to learn key skills in Adobe Premiere, Audition, and Photoshop, as well as train in software such as the screenwriting package Celtx.
Support
You’ll be supported by a dedicated team of specialist media technicians, who provide training and advice in the latest equipment and software and assist you when you encounter any difficulties with your projects.
