Anuj Dhutti
Qualifications: BEng (Hons)
Anuj Dhutti holds a BEng (Hons) degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Surrey. As a part of his degree, he completed two industrial work placements; working as a Trainee Research Assistant at Clausthal Centre of Materials Technology (Technische Universtat Clausthal, Germany) and also as a Project Technical Assistant at Brunel Innovation Centre (Brunel University London). At BIC, Anuj was involved in EU-FP7 collaborative R&D projects, where he assisted project leaders in the development of a Continuous Structural Monitoring (CSM) system to provide real-time analysis of the wind turbine through Computer-aided design (CAD), Finite Element Analysis (FEA) modelling and 3D printing.
Anuj returned to BIC as a Research Assistant after finishing his degree with First Class Honours. He is now working within the Power Ultrasonics team as a Project leader, where he is leading the delivery of multiple R&D projects, focusing on the development of Structural Health Monitoring technologies for commercial ready products. He is also actively involved in Business Development for the centre through identifying technological challenges in major engineering sectors; writing storyboards and project plans, and contributing to building new partnerships
