Dr Guojin Feng
Qualifications: BSc, MSc, PhD
Guojin Feng received a BSc and MSc degree in Electronic Information Engineering from Shandong University of Science and Technology, China in 2009 and 2012, respectively. He completed the doctorate degree at University of Huddersfield in 2016 and joined BIC as a research assistant in the same year. During his PhD study, he accumulated extensive experience in the signal processing and fault analysis on rotating machineries, like bearing, reciprocating compressor and diesel engine, etc.
His research interests include low power wireless condition monitoring, real-time signal processing and on-rotor MEMS sensing systems for condition monitoring and fault diagnosis. In addition, he worked about one year as a part-time instrumentation engineer in a university spin-out company Smart Components Technologies for sensor testing, data analysis and test rig development.
In BIC, he is currently involved in the software development of IUK and EC funded projects.
