Animation: ModifiersUsing the Stack & Geometry Pipeline
- The stack enables the designer to return to any modifier assigned earlier and make adjustments. It allows the editing of the history of an object’s construction.
- E.g. you can create a box, apply bend, twist and taper modifiers to it. At any point you can return to the original box and make it taller or wider but still see the effect of the applied modifiers. This provides unlimited opportunities to explore how to construct your objects.
- When you apply bend, twist and taper modifiers to a box they are entered onto a geometry pipeline. The object is stored as a box with bend, twist and taper modifiers applied to it, so that when you reload it from file it loads the box and then applies the modifiers to it from the geometry pipeline.
