Research Interests

My research interests are at the intersection of strategy and entrepreneurship. Specifically, I study organisational development and change (for example, divestiture and organisational restructuring), the governance of interorganisational relationships (for example, alliances, franchising and licensing), family business and family office, entrepreneurship and small business management, and entrepreneurship education.

More recently, I have begun to explore the Blue Economy concept and its potential for global strategy research. I am a co-leader of the Blue Economy Research Lab within the CBASS Centre for Entrepreneurship and Sustainability (https://www.brunel.ac.uk/research/Centres/Entrepreneurship-and-Sustainability/labs/Lab-3-Blue-Economy).

In my research, I apply various quantitative and qualitative methods as well as primary and secondary data sources.

I am a member of the BAM Peer Review College.
