Summary

I am the headteacher of an infant school in Buckinghamshire. I have previously worked in schools in Hillingdon and Slough in both teaching and school leadership positions.

My current research looks at the expectations placed upon primary teachers during the COVID 19 pandemic and how teachers reconciled the disconnect between their duty to continue to teach, while supporting the wider care requirements of pupils and their families.

I am also interested in the factors influencing teachers' expectations of pupils when learning mathematics. This includes national and local policy along with influences on pupils from outside of school.

My supervisors are Dr Paula Zwozdiak-Myers and Dr Sarmin Hossain
