Policy engagement and outreach

I coordinated a Public Health Policy Lab for practitioners and behavioural scientists at the LSE/King's Knowledge Exchange event, Behavioural Transformations in the 21st century: Novel ways to make behavioural public policy more effective. I facilitated a Policy Roundtable at a follow-up event Behavioural Transformations 2022 on Getting nudges right: the value of mixed methods in design and evaluation.

I am an Advisor on the Trussell Trust's flagship programme of research Hunger in the UK. I served as a member of the Advisory Board for the previous programme State of Hunger (2018-21). Read the latest evidence and calls for action.

I worked with Barnet Local Authority on perceptions of food security, which contributed to their first, local Joint Needs Assessment of food insecurity. Findings from this work was submitted to the House of Lords inquiry on Food Security and Sustainability (2019-20), and to the UN Special Rapporteur's visit to the UK (2018).
