Summary
Dr. Masoud Shahmanzari is a senior lecturer at Brunel Business School, Brunel University London. He received his Ph.D. degree in Operations Management and Information Systems from Koç University in 2019. His primary research interests lie in the area of Operations Management, Mathematical Programming, Metaheuristics, Business Analytics, and Machine Learning Algorithms. Dr. Shahmanzari studies the application of optimization algorithms and big data analytics to a wide range of areas including transportation and logistics, scheduling, healthcare, and day-ahead market auctions to develop data-driven decision makings. His research appeared in journals such as Production and Operations Management and European Journal of Operational Research, among others. He has presented his research output at international conferences, workshops, and universities. He is on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Business Analytics.
