Summary

Nima joined Brunel University of London as a doctoral researcher in 2024, specializing in internal combustion engines. He is currently working on an industry-funded project at the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, within the Centre for Advanced Powertrain and Fuels (CAPF). His research focuses on the experimental investigation of low-carbon and zero-carbon fuels in direct-injection spark-ignition (DISI) engines, including setting up the engine test cell, conducting engine tests with sustainable fuels, and performing 1D engine modeling.

Previously, he had the honor of working for over six years at MegaMotor Company (Engine, Gearbox, and Axle Production Company of SAIPA) in Iran, the largest powertrain manufacturer in the Middle East. He contributed to the development and production of internal combustion engines, and the localization of engine components in a dynamic, fast-paced, and multidisciplinary environment.

Before joining MegaMotor, he earned his master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Iran’s top-ranked university, in 2020. His research focused on thermodynamic analysis of engine waste heat recovery using thermodynamic cycles.
