Summary
Dr Qi Ai is a Senior Lecturer in Strategy and International Business. He has previously worked as a lecturer and senior lecturer at the University of Northampton and held a visiting position at Peking University HSBC Business School. Prior to his academic career, he gained professional experience in the governmental sector.
Qi's main research areas are mergers and acquisitions (M&As) and international business strategy. His current research focuses on the post-acquisition stage of cross-border M&As by multinational enterprises from emerging markets. His work has been published in leading academic journals, such as Journal of World Business, Asia Pacific Journal of Management, Development and Change, among others.
Dr Ai is a senior editor of Management and Organization Review. He is also on the editorial board of Asia Pacific Journal of Management and Strategic Change.
