Project details

Knowledge Transfer Leave/ British Academy/ Leverhime Trust

I have been awarded a Knowledge Transfer Leave and a British Academy-Leverhulme Trust grant  to explore innovative delivery of occupational health among small businesses. During my Knowledge Transfer Leave in 2013, I worked in partnership with Imperial College and The Health for Work Adviceline to provide an evaluation of Occupational Health (OH) among SMEs. (£15,000)

Research Catalyst Fund

In 2016 I was awarded a Research Catalyst Fund as a co-applicant (£ 10,500 with Dr. F. Nickpour, Design Department (PI); Dr. P. Abbott, Department of Computer Sciences; Dr. E. McKay, Department of Clinical Sciences). This multi-disciplinary study, we aimed to support mental health problems and the wellbeing of Disability and Dislexia Centre Service students at Brunel University London, so that the university can provide an inclusive and enabling environment for them through which to facilitate a readiness to learn.
