Summary

Sean is a lecturer at Brunel focussing on Mechanical Engineering. He completed his PhD in prosthetics technologies, following an undergraduate MEng (Hons) at Brunel with an Industrial placement at Toshiba.

His area of research interest is lower limb prosthetics, specifically looking at socket scanning, fabrication technologies, and foot mechanics. In addition, Sean is interested in the wider rehabilitation technologies sector promoting increased quality of life outcomes. 

Working towards a research vision of ending disablement from limb loss, returning lost quality of life to amputees globally.
