Summary

Benedict has had a 24-Year career as a Mechanical Engineer spanning: the Civil Service and Petroleum industry (projects, offshore maintenance operations/management, and Joint Venture management). He earned an M.Sc in Building Services Engineering from Brunel University in 2020. His interests are in Nearly Zero Energy Buildings, Building Energy Performance Modelling, Simulation, and Optimization, and the application of Building Information Modelling and Digital Twins for energy efficiency in buildings. In Doctoral Research, he is working on the application of Regenerative Hydrogen Fuel Cell cogeneration smart microgrids for district-scale decarbonization of operational energy in residential clusters.
