Summary

Thomas Willett is a Doctoral Researcher in Creative Writing.

He completed his BA in English with Creative Writing and his MA in Creative Writing: The Novel at Brunel University London.

Throughout his academic career, Thomas has focused his writing on the contemporary LGBTQ+ experience, subjectivity and the self, love and relationships. His current Doctoral research focuses on writing a novel that reclaims the transgender, queer narrative and spaces in genre fiction. Through his novel and research, Thomas will be exploring spaces of queer transformation, both corporal and incorporeal, and how we can disrupt the binary nature of gender, sex and power.
