Mr Tom Williams
PhD Student
Research area(s)
Tom’s research uses a highly innovative High-content imaging combined with functional assays, ICC, and in-vivo modelling to gain insights into how neutrophil morphology, physiology, and functionality changes with age and inflammation.
Research Interests
- High-content screening and assessment of how ageing changes neutrophil biology
- Understanding how chronic inflammation affects neutrophils from both human donors and murine models
- Investigating potential therapeutic agents to reverse negative effects of ageing and inflammation on neutrophils
