Summary

Yilin Liu is a PhD student from Electronic and Electrical Engineering Department, CEDPS, Brunel University of London.

His research studies are related to the modularity and dynamics of evolutionary computation (including Genetic Algorithm, Genetic Programming, and Gene Expression Programming). He is currently focusing on knowledge transfer and collaborative evolution in Genetic Programming. His work is aiming at applying those theories in modeling and optimization for complex systems division to realize decarbonization in manufacturing system.

He got the BEng(Hons) degree of Electronic and Communications Engineering at Brunel University London in 2023.
