Tell us about your career journey since you graduated…
After my PhD, I came back to Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka. I was given an opportunity to share more, which means more responsibility and teaching all levels of students.
What does a typical day at work involve for you?
Management, teaching and supervision
What’s been the highlight of your career so far?
My PhD and being awarded Professional Engineer status by the Board of Engineers Malaysia.
How would you say Brunel helped you to get where you are today?
All credit goes to Dr. Maysam Abbod and Prof. Balachandran for their wonderful supervision.
Why did you choose to study at Brunel and why would you recommend Brunel to others?
It is one of the top 50 Engineering colleges.
What is your best memory of studying here?
The Thursday morning campus market.
If you could give one piece of advice to new students, what would that be?
Enjoy and have fun while studying. Take study as your friend, but a force.
What would be your top tip or advice for new graduates as they begin their career journey?
Your career starts from anywhere, so grab anything that comes by and slowly improve.
