The Hillingdon Hospital is an acute and specialist services provider in North West London, close to Heathrow Airport. The organisation provides the majority of services from the Trust and it is the only acute hospital in Hillingdon with a busy Accident and Emergency, inpatients, day surgery, and outpatient clinics.

Details of the Volunteering Opportunity:

In this role you will support the End of Life Team in delivering their Education Programme. As a Volunteer Actor, you will enhance your storytelling and acting skills in role-play situations.

Typical duties include:

• Working with the end of life educator in delivering the workshop 
• Acting out the parts of patients and relatives
• Helping with setting up the workshop
• Facilitating Group Discussions

Please note, this organisation requires a minimum 6 months commitment for 4 hours per week in addition to two references and a DBS check (fully funded).
