Research supervision

I am interested in hearing from prospective students who wish to understake doctoral studies in the following areas: 

  • Global Learning & Global Citizenship Education (including encompassing terms) - I am particulalry interested in hearing from those students who seek to examine the intersection of Global learning and teaching
  • Democratic Education, Cosmopolitanism and interelated apporoaches (aspects of multicultural education and its development through the years will also be considered)
  • Primary school teaching and primary school teachers' lived experiences (contexts of England and Greece preferred) 
  • Teaching and critical pedagogies 
  • Teacher Education and pedagogies of global social justice and/or education for sustainability
  • Alternative possibilities for conceptualisations of teaching and its practice across the world in the contemporary era
