Funded by the Innovate UK Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs) programme, the project is in partnership with Veritas Advisory, a London based accounting firm. It will apply our world-leading research in artificial intelligence, in particular machine learning, expert systems and natural language processing, to develop an automated system for capital allowance assessment to collate and categorise the data required, and to automatically generate tax claim reports that comply with the complex regulations.
