Dr Ozlem Ayaz
Senior Lecturer in Strategic Management

Teaching

Dr Ozlem Ayaz teaches across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, with a focus on strategic management, organisational behaviour, and research methods. She is the module leader for MG1601: Introduction to Management Inquiry, a core first-year module. This module was recognised as best practice in Brunel’s 2023 Module Enhancement Review for its alignment with the Employability Framework.

Her teaching approach is research-led and interdisciplinary, aimed at developing students’ critical thinking and analytical skills. She has experience designing and delivering postgraduate learning activities across MBA and MSc programmes, particularly in the areas of strategic planning and leadership.

Dr Ayaz also supervises MSc dissertations and is currently supervising PhD students working on topics related to digital ethics, leadership, and workplace inclusion. She provides methodological support in quantitative analysis using SPSS, AMOS, and SmartPLS.

She works closely with the Careers and Academic Skills (ASK) teams and regularly integrates guest sessions from industry partners such as SAP and Enactus to enhance employability and practical learning outcomes.
