Dr. Sabeen Ahmad is currently working as a Lecturer in Human Resource Management and Organizational Behaviour at Brunel Business School, Brunel University of London. Her expertise lies in International Human Resource Management, with a focus on Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) practices in multinational corporations. She has completed her PhD from Queen Mary University of London, where she studied how EDI practices are transferred and adapted across different countries.

Before joining Brunel Business School, Dr. Ahmad held a prestigious LISS DTP ESRC-funded Postdoctoral Fellowship at King’s Business School, King’s College London, where she advanced her research on international human resource management and EDI practices. Following the completion of this fellowship, she joined the University of East London, where she played a pivotal role in teaching senior HR professionals at Levels 6 and 7. Her students represented leading organizations, including the NHS (National Health Services), the NHM (Natural History Museum), the Department for Business and Trade, and various other national and multinational companies. During her tenure at UEL, she also secured SEED funding to undertake groundbreaking research on workforce diversity, focusing on the inclusion of persons with disabilities in complex workplace environments, particularly within multinational subsidiaries in Pakistan. This work underscores her dedication to tackling critical challenges in Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) and fostering inclusive workplace practices.

Dr. Ahmad’s research, published in esteemed journals like Gender, Work & Organization, explores institutional forces and the cross-national transfer of diversity management practices. Her expertise is regularly showcased at international conferences, including the Academy of International Business and the International HRM Conference. Notably, her paper titled "Institutional Forces and Transnational Transfer of Diversity Management to Subsidiaries of Multinational Enterprises in Pakistan" was recognized as the runner-up for the Transnational Research Paper Award at the Academy of Management Conference in 2023. This recognition underscores the significant impact and relevance of her work in the field of international human resource management.

With over 12 years of higher education experience, Dr. Ahmad combines pedagogical excellence with innovative curriculum development, including modules for both undergraduate and postgraduate programs. A recipient of multiple academic honors, she is currently pursuing Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy to further enhance her contributions to educational excellence.

Responsibility
