Summary
Shane has recently submitted his thesis for the Doctor of Education (EdD) at Brunel University and is currently awaiting his viva. His doctoral research focuses on paradigm shifts in executive education, examining transformative approaches to leadership and learning in this field. His other research interests include the perceptions of artificial intelligence (AI) on human realities and their potential influence on future relationships, neurodiversity in higher education, and the interplay of andragogy with factors such as disabilities and spent criminal convictions in shaping career choices.
With over 20 years of leadership experience in the UK’s higher education sector, Shane now serves as the UK Head of Quality Assurance and Accreditations for EM Normandie Business School in Oxford, a prestigious triple-accredited (AACSB, EQUIS, AMBA) French institution. Additionally, he is a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Law, where he shares his expertise with aspiring professionals.
Beyond academia, Shane is a passionate advocate for creative and sustainable pursuits. He enjoys writing contemporary fiction, capturing the world through photography, and exploring green energy solutions and agricultural innovation. A keen traveler, Shane finds inspiration in diverse cultures and landscapes, which also enrich his work and personal interests.
