Professor Young is committed to pedagogical developments in the Department, and has promoted threshold-marking systems that enable students to demonstrate that they have met the learning outcomes of a module through coursework and then sit an exam for higher grades beyond pass. The University has termed this Progressive Grade Assessment because students progress from a pass to a higher grade. He is also commitment to group supervision of group projects in the final year. He currently teaches on the following modules at Brunel University London:
