Cheng Yu - pipa and guqin

Echos of Silk 

The pipa (4-stringed lute) and guqin (7-stringed zither) have a rich history stretching over 2000 years of Chinese music. For this concert Cheng Yu, director of the London International Chinese Music Festival 2023 and 2024, will play a selection of traditional and regional repertoires as well as modern works for these fascinating instruments.

If you are unable to book online, you are welcome to try your luck as a walk-in on the day, although seating will be limited.
