Research area(s)

Ellen’s research focuses on educational inequalities in higher education with particular reference to students from under-represented and marginalised backgrounds. In particular, her work explores the inequalities that intersect in the educational spaces where people live, meet and study with a focus on student poverty and the lived experiences of students.
